1 Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms", "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and the operator of Faydemand.in ("Faydemand", "we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the website at https://faydemand.in and all associated subpages, calculators, tools, blog content, and other services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing the Platform in any manner — including browsing, using a calculator, reading an article, or submitting a contact form — you agree to these Terms in their entirety. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer, both of which are binding on you.

If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" in these Terms refers to both you individually and that organisation.

These Terms were last updated in May 2026. We reserve the right to modify them at any time (see Section 18). The most current version will always be available at faydemand.in/terms.

2 About Faydemand.in

Faydemand.in is a free online platform that provides:

• Financial calculators spanning loans, investments, tax, insurance, FIRE, real estate, employment, goal planning, returns analysis, and credit tools.
• Bank FD and RD rate pages for Indian banks.
• Financial comparison pages (old vs new tax, SIP vs FD, broker comparison, etc.).
• Smart financial tools (budget planner, net worth snapshot, financial health score, ITR checklist, etc.).
• Educational blog articles covering personal finance topics.

Faydemand.in is operated by an individual creator based in India. The platform is not a bank, financial institution, NBFC, stockbroker, insurance company, or any form of regulated financial service provider.

Faydemand.in is not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, is not registered with IRDA as an insurance intermediary, is not an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, and is not a Chartered Accountant or Tax Practitioner.

3 Eligibility

The Platform is open for use by:

• Individuals aged 18 years or above.
• Students or minors below 18 only with parental/guardian supervision and consent, and only for educational purposes.
• Businesses, organisations, and professionals accessing the Platform for educational or estimation purposes.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable eligibility criteria above. If you do not meet these criteria, you must not use the Platform.

Access to the Platform is not restricted geographically — it is available to users in India and abroad. However, the calculators are designed primarily for the Indian financial context (Indian tax laws, Indian interest rates, RBI guidelines, Indian government schemes) and may not be applicable to financial systems in other countries.

4 Nature of Service — Educational Platform Only

Faydemand.in is an educational and informational platform only. The entire platform — including every calculator, comparison tool, blog article, smart tool, and bank rate page — is intended solely to help users understand financial concepts, estimate outcomes, and improve their financial literacy.

Specifically:

• Our calculators produce estimates based on the inputs you provide and standard financial formulas. They are mathematical tools, not financial plans.
• Calculator results do not constitute a financial plan, investment recommendation, tax filing, insurance quote, loan offer, or any other form of personalised financial output that takes your complete financial situation into account.
• Bank rate data, interest rate comparisons, and similar data on the Platform are provided for general reference only and may not reflect real-time rates offered by any specific bank to any specific customer.
• Blog articles are educational content based on publicly available information and the author's understanding of financial topics. They are not professional advice tailored to your specific circumstances.

5 Disclaimer of Financial Advice — Critical Notice

IMPORTANT: NOTHING ON FAYDEMAND.IN CONSTITUTES FINANCIAL ADVICE, INVESTMENT ADVICE, TAX ADVICE, INSURANCE ADVICE, OR LEGAL ADVICE OF ANY KIND.

The following applies without exception to every piece of content, every calculator output, every comparison table, every tool result, and every blog article on this Platform:

• Content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
• Content does not account for your specific financial situation, risk tolerance, investment horizon, tax position, health status, income level, family circumstances, or any other individual factor.
• Calculator outputs are not recommendations to buy, sell, hold, or take any action with respect to any investment, insurance product, loan, or financial instrument.
• Nothing on this Platform should be relied upon as the basis for any financial decision without independent verification and consultation with qualified professionals.

Before making any significant financial decision, you must consult qualified professionals appropriate to your needs:

6 Accuracy, Completeness, and Currency of Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the content, calculator formulas, tax slabs, interest rates, and government scheme details on Faydemand.in accurate and up-to-date. However, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy at all times, and the following limitations apply:

• Financial data changes frequently: Tax slabs, TDS rates, TCS rates, capital gains tax rates, GST rates, government scheme interest rates (PPF, SCSS, SSY, MIS, NSC), EPF rates, and other regulated figures are subject to change by government notification. While we update the Platform when we become aware of changes, there may be a delay between an official change and its reflection on our calculators.
• Bank interest rates: FD and RD rates displayed on bank pages are based on publicly available information at the time of the last update. Actual rates offered by banks to individual customers may differ based on amount, tenure, senior citizen status, special schemes, negotiation, and other factors. Always verify current rates directly with the respective bank.
• Regional variations: Stamp duty rates, property tax rates, and other state-specific financial parameters vary by state and can change frequently. Our calculators use commonly applicable rates that may not reflect your specific state's latest rates.
• Calculator assumptions: All calculators make certain standard assumptions (e.g., uniform annual interest, regular SIP dates, inflation rates) that are clearly disclosed on each calculator page. Real-world outcomes will vary from these simplified assumptions.
• No warranty of completeness: We do not warrant that all information on the Platform is comprehensive. Edge cases, unusual tax situations, special investment categories, and complex financial scenarios may not be fully covered.

For critical financial information, always verify with official sources: Income Tax India (incometax.gov.in), Reserve Bank of India (rbi.org.in), SEBI (sebi.gov.in), AMFI (amfiindia.com), National Pension System Trust (npstrust.org.in), and the relevant bank or government body.

7 Permitted Use of the Platform

Subject to these Terms, Faydemand.in grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for the following permitted purposes:

• Personal use to estimate financial outcomes and improve your financial literacy.
• Educational use by students, teachers, and researchers for learning and academic purposes.
• Professional use by financial advisors, CAs, and other professionals to assist in client discussions — provided such use is accompanied by appropriate professional advice and the limitations of the Platform are disclosed to clients.
• Journalistic or informational reference — e.g., citing calculator results in articles — provided Faydemand.in is appropriately credited and the educational/estimation nature of the results is clearly noted.
• Sharing links to calculator pages with family, friends, colleagues, or on social media.

8 Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension of your access to the Platform, legal action, or both:

• Scraping and bulk extraction: Using automated scripts, bots, crawlers, spiders, or scrapers to extract, copy, or download content, calculator code, data, or any other Platform material at scale, without explicit written permission from Faydemand.in.
• Unauthorised reproduction: Copying, reproducing, publishing, or distributing calculator code, content, design, or structure on any other website or platform without prior written permission.
• Framing or embedding: Embedding or framing any page of Faydemand.in on another website without explicit written permission.
• Reverse engineering: Attempting to decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer, or extract the source code of any software used on the Platform.
• Malicious activity: Attempting to hack, probe, scan, test the vulnerability of, or breach the security of the Platform, its servers, or its network infrastructure.
• Denial of service: Transmitting or causing to be transmitted any material that could disrupt, overload, or impair the functioning of the Platform's servers or network.
• Impersonation: Impersonating Faydemand.in, its founder, or any other person or entity in connection with the Platform.
• Misinformation: Using the Platform's calculators or name to knowingly present false or misleading financial outputs as genuine advice.
• Commercial exploitation: Using the Platform's content, calculators, or brand to build a competing product, generate leads, or for any other commercial purpose without permission.
• Illegal use: Using the Platform for any purpose that violates Indian law or the laws of your jurisdiction, including but not limited to tax evasion, money laundering, fraud, or securities law violations.

9 Intellectual Property Rights

All content, code, design, and data on Faydemand.in — including but not limited to calculator algorithms and JavaScript code, page layouts and UI design, written content and copy, blog articles, images and graphics, the Faydemand brand name and logo, comparison tables, tool designs, and database structure — are the exclusive intellectual property of Faydemand.in and are protected by applicable Indian and international intellectual property laws, including the Copyright Act, 1957, and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.

What you may do:

• Share links to Faydemand.in pages freely.
• Quote small excerpts (up to a paragraph) from our blog articles with attribution and a link to the original article.
• Screenshot calculator results for personal, non-commercial reference.

What you may NOT do without written permission:

• Reproduce, republish, or redistribute complete articles, calculator pages, or substantial portions of content.
• Use the Faydemand name, logo, or brand in any manner that implies endorsement or affiliation.
• Incorporate our calculator logic or design into your own product or service.
• Create derivative works based on our content or code.

10 User-Generated Content

Currently, Faydemand.in does not have user accounts, comment sections, forums, or community features. The Platform is a one-way publishing platform — we provide tools and content, you use them. If we add user-generated content features in the future, these Terms will be updated to cover them and you will be notified.

Any content you send us directly via the contact form (feedback, bug reports, feature requests, suggestions) may be used by us to improve the Platform. We will not publish your communications publicly without your explicit consent, but we may act on feedback without being obligated to attribute or compensate you for it.

11 Third-Party Links and External Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites including, but not limited to, official government portals (incometax.gov.in, rbi.org.in, sebi.gov.in), bank websites, financial news sources, regulatory bodies, and other reference materials.

These links are provided for informational and reference purposes only. Faydemand.in:

• Does not endorse, vouch for, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, products, services, or privacy practices of any third-party website.
• Has no control over third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, functionality, or availability.
• Is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your use of any linked third-party website.

When you follow a link to a third-party site, you do so at your own risk and are subject to that website's terms of use and privacy policy.

12 Advertising and Monetisation

Faydemand.in may display advertising (including Google AdSense or similar networks) to help sustain the Platform financially. The following principles govern our advertising:

• Advertisements are clearly distinguishable from editorial content and calculator tools.
• We do not accept advertising from individual financial product companies in exchange for favourable calculator outputs or biased comparisons.
• The presence of an advertisement on a page does not constitute endorsement of that advertiser's products or services.
• Advertising networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your browser settings or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool.
• Our calculator results and content are editorially independent from our advertising partners. Advertisers have no influence over calculator algorithms, content, or editorial decisions.

If you are accessing the Platform with an ad blocker, the Platform will generally continue to function fully. We do not restrict access to users who block ads, although ads help us keep the Platform free for everyone.

13 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Faydemand.in expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
• Warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or currency of any content, data, or calculator output on the Platform.
• Warranties that the Platform will meet your requirements or that results obtained from use of the Platform will be accurate or reliable.
• Warranties regarding any content provided by third parties linked to from the Platform.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

14 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FAYDEMAND.IN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF SAVINGS, INVESTMENT LOSSES, TAX PENALTIES, MISSED FINANCIAL OPPORTUNITIES, BUSINESS DISRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER FINANCIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

• Your use of or reliance on the Platform or any calculator output.
• Inaccuracies in calculator results, tax calculations, investment projections, or other financial estimates.
• Any financial decision made based on information from the Platform without independent professional verification.
• Interruption, delay, error, or failure of the Platform or any part of it.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or communications.
• Any content provided by third parties accessible through links on the Platform.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), and even if Faydemand.in has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees).

15 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Faydemand.in, its founder, contributors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
• Your misuse of the Platform or any calculator or tool on it.
• Any financial decision made by you based on Platform outputs without appropriate professional advice.
• Any content you submit to us via the contact form or any other channel.
• Your infringement of any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.

16 Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

17 Platform Availability and Changes

We strive to keep Faydemand.in available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Server or infrastructure issues
• Third-party service outages (CDN, DNS, hosting)
• Force majeure events (see Section 22)

We reserve the right to modify, update, add, remove, or discontinue any feature, calculator, tool, content, or section of the Platform at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to announce significant changes in advance where possible.

We may also temporarily or permanently shut down the Platform at our discretion. We bear no liability to you for any such discontinuation.

18 Amendments to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amended Terms will be posted at faydemand.in/terms with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be announced on the Platform's homepage for a reasonable period.

Your continued use of the Platform after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

19 Termination and Suspension of Access

Faydemand.in reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Platform at any time and without prior notice if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms.
• You engage in any prohibited activity described in Section 8.
• You attempt to harm the Platform, its users, or its reputation.
• We are required to do so by law or court order.

Since Faydemand.in does not require user registration or maintain accounts, "termination of access" may include IP blocking or other technical measures to prevent continued access from your device or network.

Termination does not affect any rights or remedies that have accrued to either party prior to termination. Sections 5, 9, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 24 of these Terms survive termination.

20 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms, your use of the Platform, and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable Indian statutes, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to the dispute resolution procedure in Section 21, you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India for the resolution of any dispute that is not resolved through arbitration or other agreed means.

21 Dispute Resolution

21.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. You may contact us at info.faydemand@gmail.com with a description of the dispute. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve the issue within 30 days.

21.2 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms, or the breach, termination, or validity thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended). The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by the parties, or appointed in accordance with the Act. The seat of arbitration shall be India, and proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.

21.3 Consumer Disputes

Nothing in this Section prevents you from approaching the Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum or Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 if you qualify as a "consumer" under that Act and your dispute is a "consumer dispute" as defined therein. Faydemand.in does not charge users for access, and the applicability of the Consumer Protection Act to disputes arising from free services is a legal question that remains fact-specific.

22 Force Majeure

Faydemand.in shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms to the extent caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, war, terrorism, labour disputes, power failures, internet infrastructure failures, cyberattacks, or actions of third-party service providers outside our control.

23 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent court or arbitrator to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, it shall be severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect and shall not be affected by the invalid or unenforceable provision.

24 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Faydemand.in with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior and contemporaneous negotiations, representations, warranties, and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the Platform.

No waiver by either party of any breach of these Terms shall be considered a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.

25 Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the following person has been designated as the Grievance Officer for Faydemand.in:
